Dan Corrigan — photographer

www.danielcorrigan.com

Daniel Corrigan is best known for his iconic photographs of Minneapolis musicians—that was his picture on the cover of the Replacements' 1984 album Let It Be. But he's made a variety of other images since taking up photography in 1980, and this exhibit focuses on pictures he took for pleasure, in his private time.

Minneapolis native, Corrigan studied photography at the University of Minnesota under David Goldes, James Henkel, Linda Brooks, and Gary Hallman. He worked for the Minnesota Daily in the 1980s, and has since been a regular contributor to the (now defunct) Twin Cities Reader and City Pages. He is currently staff photographer at First Avenue & 7th St. Entry, and freelances widely, shooting anything but weddings.
